This Chapter of the Florida Statutes provides for soil and water conservation. Its policy objective is to promote the appropriate and efficient use of soil and water resources, protect water quality, prevent floodwater and sediment damage, preserve wildlife, protect public lands, and protect and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of this state. The Chapter creates soil and water conservation districts.
This Chapter of the Florida Statutes concerns legal fences and livestock at large.
This Law establishes the third amendment of Law No. 54/2005 regulating the title ownership of water resources. Amendments deal with the ownership of water resources and lay down the requirements to be satisfied in order to use such resources. In addition, it regulates the lake and fluvial public domain which belongs to the state or to the autonomous regions.
The overall objective of the present national cross-sectoral Forest Policy is to achieve sustainable forest management that would ensure sustainable increases in the economic, social and environmental benefits from forests and trees for the present and future generation including the poor and the vulnerable groups.

These Regulations reform the law in Ghana with respect to the granting of timber rights and related matters. They (a) regulate the identification of land suitable for the grant of timber rights, (b) regulate the terms and conditions for small and large scale timber rights, (c) regulate other sources of timber, and (d) provide for a legality licensing scheme.The Forestry Commission shall identify lands suitable for grant of large scale timber utilisation contracts. The Regulations set out the procedures for the identification of lands (including owner consent).
Article 6 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Regional government shall be competent authority in land valuation of the plots of land with undelimited public property, in the process of conclusion of purchase and sale contracts of the aforesaid plots of land without tender”.

The purpose of these Provisions is to standardize the administrative response to litigation of land and resources, protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations. The Measures contain 37 Articles.The Provisions govern the land and resources competent authorities' activities of participating in administrative proceedings according to law. Article 14 provides for the circumstances where the officers in charge of the land and resources competent authorites shall appear in court to respond.
