This Act makes provision with respect to the transcription of deeds regarding land transactions and rights and mortgages. The Act sets out the documents to be transcribe documents to be transcribed and how they are to be transcribed. Documents shall be transcribed by filing them with the Mortgage Office or the Conservator of Mortgages. The Act also provides rules for effects of mortgages and effects on mortgages of certain deeds such as sale if mortgages are not inscribed.

These Regulations amend the Transcription and Mortgage Act in the Fourth Schedule which specifies fees for purposes of section 62 of the Act.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. In particular, the purpose of the present Law is to provide authorities both at national and cantonal level, economy, science and the public with spatial information. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Appenzell-Innerrhoden.

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Agricultural Soil Act of 4 October 1991. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the valuation of plots of land. Article 1 defines the term “parcel of land” for the purpose of the present Ordinance. Article 1 establishes that the competent Land Registry shall run an Alpine Register on mountains and pastures belonging to the Canton Appenzell Innerrhoden. The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. The Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the Canton Appenzell-Ausserrhoden. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure.

The present Act regulates: a) the execution of the federal geo-information legislation; b) the collection, tracking, management and access of geodata under cantonal law; c) the administration and access to municipal land use plans; d) the cadastral map of line systems. This Order specifies in the Schedule fees to be charged and taken by the Property Registration Authority (established under section 9 of the Registration of Deeds and Title Act 2006) for a service provided in the Land Registry. No registration shall be made and no other transaction shall be done or completed until: (a) the appropriate fee has been paid to the Authority, or (b) the Authority is satisfied that arrangements for the payment of the appropriate fee have been made.

In land administration (LA), the right to exercising property/ownership rights on land is based on cadastral processes of adjudication, survey and rights registration.
