Centro de Capacitao Zumbi dos Palmares (CCZP) will help beekeepers resettled in the semiarid region of Alagoas pursuant to Brazil's program of land reform transform subsistence honey production into a viable source of income by developing a processing facility and marketing strategies. The project will benefit 120 rural families directly and another 1,500 area residents indirectly.

A Casa Verde Cultura e Meio Ambiente (Casa Verde) will work with indigenous, quilombola communities, and small farmers resettled by Brazil's program of land reform, to improve their productive capacities, reinforce their traditional practices, and conserve biodiversity in the states of Gois, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso do Sul. This project will directly benefit 1,000 families and indirectly another 3,500 families.
Legal Assistance Grant

Instituto Brasil Central (IBRACE) will train farmers, residents of quilombola and indigenous Brazilians resettled as a result of land reform in the northeastern region of the state of Gois to contribute to the discussion of public policies on rural development, conservation and social services, and to monitor the programs derived from the policies. One hundred individuals should benefit directly and 80,000 indirectly.
Togo Threshold-Threshold Fund

Signed in February, 2019, The MCC Togo Threshold Program is designed to improve citizens' access to high quality and affordable Internet and Communications Technology (ICT) services�both mobile phone services and Internet�by encouraging private sector investment, developing an independent regulatory regime, expanding service to underserved areas, and increasing the use of ICT among women and small businesses. The threshold program will also seek to expand access to formalized land through the recognition and protection of legitimate land rights in five pilot areas across the country and to develop a regulatory framework to implement the proposed new land code. The threshold program incorporates stringent accountability mechanisms to ensure that MCC funds are tied to results and are used only for programmatic purposes.
Cultural Expression Grant

Asociacin No Gubernamental Rural Amaznica Andina Choba Choba (Choba-Choba) will help communities living in the buffer zone of the Cordillera Azul national park to recover and reestablish traditional land management and agricultural production practices, promote agricultural biodiversity, and carry out natural resource conservation and sustainable economic development activities. The project will benefit 3,680 community members who live in the districts of Pilluana and Tres Unidos, in the Mishikiyacu Valley of San Martin Region.
