Article 19 shall be amended to add the following wording: “If general boundaries of a plot of land displayed on cadastre or geometric plan does not correspond to effective land ownership (pedis possession) and in the absence of act of land boundary establishment at land owner’s request and at the expense of local government establishes boundaries of land plot on site”.

Regulation respecting the regularization of certain kinds of occupation of lands in the domain of the State (CQLR c. T-8.1, r. 6).

The present Regulation is made under the Act respecting agricultural lands in the domain of the state. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the regularization of certain kinds of occupation of lands in the domain of the State. Section 3 establishes that the Minister may sell land to an occupant applying in writing and showing that the occupation of that land by him and his predecessors in title has been continuous, uninterrupted, peaceful, public, unequivocal and as owner.

The present Regulation is made under the Land Surveyors Act. For the purpose of this Regulation, unless otherwise indicated by the context, “immovable property” means an immovable such as a parcel of land with or without a building, superficies, an immovable held in divided co-ownership or a private portion of an immovable held in divided co-ownership.

The present Regulation is made under the Property Transfer Tax Act. Section 3 establishes that in the case of a transfer by a Crown grant or Crown lease agreement that is to be submitted directly by the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands to the land title office for registration on behalf of a transferee, the transferee must, on demand made by the administrator, remit tax and file a return with the administrator. The text consists of 17 sections divided into 3 Parts as follows: General (1); Valuation of life estates and leases (2); Principal residence exemption (3).

Decree No. 171 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on calculation of compensation to former owners of land and their legitimate heirs for land transferred in ownership to cities.

This Decree establishes the modalities of calculation and payment of compensation to former owners of land and their legitimate heirs for land transferred in ownership to cities. The total amount of compensation shall be established by district (urban) bodies of State Land Service and it shall be submitted for approval to the respective urban land commission. The sum of compensation shall be exonerated from application of taxes. The amount of compensation shall be based upon cadastre value of land.

The present Act is a piece of companion legislation to the Federal Sechelt Indian Band Self-Government Act and provides for provincial recognition of the Sechelt Indian Government District. The ministry is responsible for section 4, which makes the district eligible for municipal benefits. The rest of the Act is the responsibility of the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation. The text consists of 8 sections.

The purposes of the present Act are to enable the Sechelt Indian Band to establish and maintain self-government for itself and its members on Sechelt lands and to obtain control over and the administration of the resources and services available to its members. Section 5 establishes that the Sechelt Indian Band is hereby established to replace the Indian Act Sechelt Band.

La presente Resolución aprueba el Reglamento Operativo de coordinación y participación de la Infraestructura Panameña de Datos Espaciales (IPDE), con el fin de propiciar una política de gestión de datos especiales que abarque la producción, uso, acceso e intercambio de información y al mismo tiempo garantizar la interoperabilidad entre las distintas instituciones que integran el Comité Técnico Interinstitucional que forma parte del IPDE.

Acquisition of Land in the Public Interest Regulations (Cap. 1A).

These Regulations set out in the Schedule forms, which are prescribed for the purposes of the provisions of the Acquisition of Land in the Public Interest Act respectively specified in each such form. They include: particulars to be furnished under section 5(3) and 5(4) of the Act; Claim for compensation under section 12; Notice under section 9(2) of an owner whose lands is compulsory acquired under section 6.
