This Order, made under section 13(2) and (5) of the Landfill Tax (Scotland) Act 2014, specifies the first standard rate and lower rate for Scottish landfill tax. Tax is to be calculated by reference to the weight and types of material disposed of, as provided for in section 13 of the Act.

This Decree applies to freshwater stocks which are already serving or will be used in the future for drinking water distribution and for mineral and medical water uses, and to establishments supplying, treating, storing and distributing such waters to at least an average of 50 persons. These water stocks and establishments must be highly protected according to this Decree.

The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure protection of Kristiansten Fortress, in Trondheim. This permanent protection scheme shall enable the keeping of the Fortress’ parts (external and internal) and its related land intact. This will ensure the protection of the historical and cultural heritage values of the Fortress from 1681 until today.
