The present Law regulates land use planning in the Canton Graubünden. The Law establishes the task to be fulfilled by municipalities, associations and the Canton. Furthermore, the Law lays down provisions relating to building and zoning and to cantonal procedures. The text consists of 109 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Cantonal planning (II); Regional planning (III); Local planning (IV); Cantonal building provisions (V); Formal construction law (VI); Expropriation (VII); Legal protection (VIII); Final provisions (IX).

The present Ordinance implements various articles of the Building Law of 28 April 1985. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to land use planning in the Canton Appenzell-Innerrhoden. The text consists of 90 articles divided into 5 chapters as follows: Planning law (I); Urbanization, land consolidation and boundary adjustment (II); Building law (III); Building permit process (IV); Final provisions (V). One Annex is enclosed.

The present Law enforces the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 22 June 1979. In particular, the Law aims to ensure a rational and economical use of building land with a view to comply with safety, hygienic and traffic regulations, as well as with nature and cultural heritage protection regulations.

An Act to approve, give effect to and declare valid land claims agreements entered into between Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, the Government of Yukon and certain first nations in Yukon, to provide for approving, giving effect to and declaring valid other land claims agreements entered into after this Act comes into force, and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

This Order, among other things, makes a transitional provision so that any references to “the Commission” or the “Crofting Commission” in the provisions of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act commenced by this Order are to be read as references to the Crofters Commission until the Crofters Commission is renamed the Crofting Commission. It also makes a transitional provision regarding consent from the Crofters Commission for divisions of owner-occupied crofts and makes saving provisions with regard to investigations into absent crofters.

This Ordinance establishes the Physical Planning Board and provides rules relative to (control on) planning and development. Other administrative bodies for purposes of this Act are the Minister and the Director of Planning. The Director may, and if so required by the Governor shall, submit to the Minister proposals for the preparation of a development plan. There shall be various types of development permission, including a permission to subdivide land.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Strata Titles Ordinance with respect to, among other things: the registry of strata plans to be kept by the Registrar; forms for certificates to be issued by a licensed surveyor or the Planning and Development Board; policies of insurance against damages of buildings; and powers of court where a building is damages.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Physical Planning Ordinance with respect to applications for: (a) a grant of development permission; (b) permission to demolish or develop a building subject to a building preservation order; (c) permission to cut or remove a plant subject to a Plant Preservation Order; and (d) the right to subdivide land. Schedule 1 sets out the forms to be used in respect of the various applications, decisions, requirements and other matters to facilitate the administration of the Ordinance.

This Ordinance provides rules relative to the subdivision of land and relevant titles in such divided land and common property. It prescribes that land, including the whole or a part of a building, may be subdivided by registering a strata plan in the manner provided by or under this Ordinance. The proprietors of strata lots contained in a strata plan, shall, upon registration of the plan, become a body corporate. The Ordinance sets out duties of a corporation and defines requirements of a strata plan. Strata plans may be unified.
