Sectional Titles Regulations (Chapter 33:04).

These Regulations implement provisions of the Sectional Titles Act in relation with, among other things, notification to tenants of development schemes, sectional plans, registration of transfer of ownership, certificates of registered sectional titles, dealings with common property and sectional mortgage bonds.

Morcellement Act.

This Act shall apply to a morcellement, i.e. the division of a plot of land into two or more lots, but not to subdivision for purposes sale to the Government or a compulsory acquisition under the Land Acquisition Act; a mortgage or a fixed charge; or a sale or a donation of not more than one lot and to a division in kind between co-heirs, ascendants and descendants. The Act establishes the Morcellement Board, which shall assess an application for a morcellement permit by a developer. The application shall be accompanied by a plan prepared by a land surveyor.

Delegation of Powers to City and Municipal Councils Notice (Cap. 283).

This Notice delegates the functions of the Minister under subsections (1) and (2) of section 25 of the Town and Country Planning Act relating to the grant or refusal of permission to develop or subdivide land in respect of the areas set out in the First Schedule to the Act to the appropriate planning authorities set out in the said First Schedule.

The objective of the present Law is to safeguard the public interest on the occasion of the transfer of land or parts thereof, taking into account the need to comply with the principles of a sustainable protection of the environment, nature and landscape. Resolution No 1 of 1992 on the reorganization and re-composition of the Sort Property Commission.

This Resolution is composed of 6 articles. Article 1 defines competencies of the Commission which are: division and valuation of joint tenancy and public domain; determining shares of partners; and, prepare a project of the equitable distribution among partners. Article 2 deals with the management and internal organization of the Commission in particular: departments of the Commission and their competencies; and, definition of the honorarium of the Commission.

Law of Property and Conveyancing (Condominium) Act (Cap. 139).

This Act makes provision for real property rights in relation with common property in condominium. This Act shall apply only to property as hereinafter defined which is expressly made subject to the provisions of this Act by a Declaration, i.e. an instrument duly executed under seal by the person or persons having the legal and equitable title in fee simple absolute to the property to which the Declaration relates.

Roads Act (Cap. 201).

This Act concerns the classification, declaration, construction, maintenance and control of public roads and some related matters such as the restriction on the discharge of water and other liquids from private lands onto public roads, the duty of owners of adjoining land in relation with vegetation, restriction on the removal of sand from coastal areas in the vicinity of public roads and the (compulsory) acquisition of land by the Minister and exchange of land for purposes of this Act.

Standards for the Classification of Land as a Farm Regulation (B.C: Reg. 411/95).

The present Regulation enacts the Assessment Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the standards for the classification of farm land. In particular, section 4 establishes that the assessor must classify as farm all or part of a parcel of land used for: a) primary agricultural production, b) a farmer's dwelling, or c) the training and boarding of horses when operated in conjunction with horse rearing.2) Land will only be classed as farm where part of a parcel or parcels of land are: a) necessary to the farm, and b) predominantly used for primary agricultural production.

Land Consolidation Act Implementing Law.

The present Law implements various articles of the Land Consolidation Act. Article 1 establishes that the competent authority for land consolidation is the Cadastre and Survey Office and is responsible for the whole Land of Bremen.
