This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding public and private land and community land (as defined respectively by Articles 62, 63, 64 and 260 of the Constitution), and in particular provides of the sustainable administration and management of land and land-based resources. It also provides for (compulsory) acquisition of land.

The present Law implements the Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE). In particular, the purpose of the present Law is to lay down rules aimed at the establishment of the infrastructure for spatial information in Vorarlberg and surroundings with a view to environmental policies and activities which may have an impact on the environment.

This Law amends several articles of the Programme on “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” dealing with the regularization of urban settlements. The amended articles deal with financial aspects, legal and administratives proceedings, sustainable urban projects authorization criteria, etc.

Article 29 shall be amended to add item 51 of the following wording: “51. The authorized state institution can establish other types of information that can be released by the state register of immovable property, rights and transactions therewith, with the consideration of restrictions to release such information as envisaged by this article.”

The Law lays down rules and procedures on the organization and functioning of the Immovable Property Office, the procedures for the registration of immovable properties, and the administration of the public register of such properties.

The scope of this Law shall be to protect public interests with a view of ensuring territorial integrity, national, economic and energetic security, social protection of the population, environmental protection, rational management of natural resources and conservation of historical and cultural heritage.

This Act makes provision for the appointment by the Governor-General of the Registrar General, the Deputy Registrar General and Assistant Registrars General and provides that Departments of the Registrar General and of the Registrar of Records shall be controlled and administered as one under the management of the Registrar General.

These Regulations, made in terms of section 9(9) of the Deeds Registries Act, amend the Regulations in terms of the Deeds Registries Act by substituting for the Schedule specifying fees for services a new Schedule attached to these Regulations.

This Act requires the Registrar appointed by the Governor under section 66C(1) of the Virgin Islands (Constitution) Order, 1976 to Register of Interests established under that same section. This Register, in which interests in moveable and immovable property are registered, may be inspected for public purposes.

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the operating of the Land Register. In particular, article 1 of the afore-mentioned Ordinance establishes that the Canton Aargau shall operate the Land Register and its other related registers by means of computer science. The text consists of 10 articles.
