Nosotros, los habitantes de este país que alguna vez produjo más de 1.550 variedades de papa para el mundo y que ahora las importa del Perú. Este país que llamaba a Cochabamba su "granero” porque sus campos sembrados abastecían buena parte de los mercados del país con unos choclos enormes y sabrosos, tomates grandes, jugosos, cebolla por montones, verduras y hortalizas, duraznos de San Benito como pelotas de tenis, ciruelos y damascos, pacayes, piñas gordas y dulces desde el Chapare.
