The Contracting Parties, Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, the Selkirk First Nation and the Government of the Yukon have developed the present Plant which identifies certain activities to be undertaken and certain payments to be made with respect to the implementation of the Selkirk First Nation Self-Government Agreement.

The present Regulations are made under the Canada National Parks Act. For the purpose of the present Regulations “Jasper Agreement lands” means the lands forming part of Jasper National Park of Canada that are described in Schedule V.

The present Agreement among the Selkirk First Nation and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement among the Kluane First Nation and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement among the First Nation of Little Salmon/Carmacks and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement among the Ta'an Kwach'an Council and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement among the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement among the First Nation of Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada and the Government of the Yukon establishes the framework of a modern First Nation Government. In particular, the Agreement provides for the power to enact laws of a local or private nature on settlement land and for many aspects of the citizens' lives (marriage, adoption, education, administration of estates, etc.).

The present Agreement between the Government of the Northwest Territories and the Aboriginal Parties, made on February 27, 2014, fulfils a commitment made in the Northwest Territories Intergovernmental Resource Revenue Sharing Agreement that requires the Government to recommend legislation providing for the sharing of the net fiscal benefit. This reflects the vision of communities sharing in the benefits of a prosperous Northwest Territories, and the goal of a strong and independent North built on partnerships.
