Port Vila Urban Land Leases Selection Committee Rules (Cap. 163).

This Order establishes the Urban land Leases Selection Committee, which shall, within the Municipality of Port Vila: (a) consider, on behalf of the Minister responsible for lands, all applications for the granting of new leases, transfer of leases and surrender of leases for the creation of new leases, transfer and transfer of shares between lessor and lessee companies; (b) advise the Minister on any matter in relation to the such transactions; and (c) do or perform such other functions or responsibilities as the Minister may from time to time direct or delegate.

This Decree provides for use of native land as defined in the Native Lands Act and Crown land as defined in the Crown lands Act. Utilization of land to which this Decree applies shall be decided by the Prime Minister and all such land shall be registered in the Land Use Bank created under this Decree. The Decree also establishes a Land Use Unit in the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources. This office shall be responsible for valuation of land, issue and renewal of leases and collection of rental. Leases issued under this Decree shall be for 99 years and are protected leases.

The present Decree codifies into one unified text the provisions of Royal Decree No. 19.12.1955/21.1.1956 and Legislative Decrees Nos. 3570/1956 and 3777/1957 regarding the income of local self-governments. Among other provisions, the Decree provides for the management of immovable property of local self-governments and establishes rules on licensing, leasing, rights of use and management of communal or municipal slaughterhouses (arts. 3-4), grasslands and pasture lands (arts. 5-11) and medicinal waters (art. 12).

This Act stipulates that the Department of Public Lands shall not assess rental fees in respect to small parcels of public land, not in excess of 300 square meters, adjacent to land used for residential purposes where the residential land owner maintains the public land by removing undesirable vegetation and habitat for pests.

Regional Act No. 2 amending Regional Act No. 34 of 1992 on town and country planning.

This Regional Act supplements Regional Act No. 34 of 1992 by inserting new article 26 ter, which concerns the adoption of the plan on alienation and valorization of lands pertaining to the Region, the Provinces and the Municipalities within the Marche Region.

Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 (Act No. 126).

It establishes a number of statutory bodies including the Conservation Commission of Western Australia, the Marine Parks and Reserves Authority, and the Marine Parks and Reserves Scientific Advisory Committee, and it defines their composition, and functions and powers.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to land survey in the province of New Brunswick. In particular, the Act sets out details of land surveying procedures. Section 2 establishes that the Service New Brunswick shall establish and maintain a system of plane rectangular coordinates for locating points on the earth’s surface. A surveyor with at least five years experience as such shall be designated as Director of Surveys by Service New Brunswick.

This Act stipulates that, notwithstanding any provision in any enactment or any rule of law, a person may, in the public interest and without the consent of the Attorney-General, make an application to the Supreme Court for the protection and enforcement of public rights. Such application shall not be made unless leave of the Supreme Court has been obtained in accordance with rules of court; and the Court shall not grant leave to make such an application unless it considers that the applicant has a sufficient interest in the matter to which the application relates.

This Act stipulates that a Parish Council of a parish shall charge for the supply of all water from the water works in such parish in accordance with rules to be made by such Council, provided that the Minister may at any time, and from time to time, by Order, provide for the free distribution of water to specified persons or class of persons. The Act also provides for the definition of public land belonging to waterworks and for the punishment of trespass of such land.

These Regulations specify the manner in which a registration authority must amend the registers which it maintains pursuant to the Commons Registration Act 1965, when it receives an order under section 17 of the Commons Act 2006. Where an application for is deregistration of land as common land or as a town or village green, and registration of other land in replacement is granted, section 17(1) and (2) of the 2006 Act requires the Welsh Ministers to make an order directing the commons registration authority to amend its register of common land or town or village greens accordingly.

These Regulations make provision with respect to the procedure for applications for the deregistration, or the deregistration and exchange, of land registered in a register of common land or a register of town or villagegreens. Applications under section 16 of the Commons Act 2006 for deregistration must be made to the Welsh Ministers. The Regulations also provide for the management and determination of applications, including provision for representations, holding site inspections and hearings or inquiries in appropriate cases.
