This Act sets up a Ministry of Lands, Parks and Housing. For the purposes of this Act the minister may enter into agreements with; the government of Canada or its agent, or the government of a province or its agent, or with any other person or a municipality. Section 6 set out the powers of the minister. Section 7 deals with appropriation, and section 8 with securing advances. Section 8(1) sets out in detail the provisions dealing with affordable housing assistance and security for it.

Cooperative Association Act ([RSBC 1996] Chapter 28).

This Act provides for any 5 or more persons to form an association under this Act to carry on any lawful industry, trade or business on a cooperative basis. An association formed under this Act must include in its name the word " cooperative". The Act is divided into two parts, the first being; Establishment and Operation. Part 2 details, Housing Cooperatives. Sections 2-11 deal with the setting up of a cooperative ealing with capital, memorandum and rules, directors, registration of documents, and Conclusiveness of certificate.

Escheats Act (C.C.S.M. c. E140).

This Act regulates the procedure to be taken by the Minister of Justice with regards to escheatable land. Escheat refers to the reversion of property to the crown in the absence of legal heirs. Section 1 gives the Minister of Justice the power to take possession of forfeited property. Section 2 states that the proceedings to escheat will be similar to those in other actions for the recovery of land.

The Minister orders that the recurring allotment of the plots of land for geological study and valuation at the expense of the user of subsoil within the boundaries where the deposits of minerals had been previously exposed and prospected, carries out the Ministry of Natural Resources in accordance with the legislation currently in force.

Ministerial Decree No. 1511 of 1996 regarding validation of the Regulation on the modalities of transactions with the plots of land belonging to State property or the right to permanent land tenure.

The Government decrees to validate the Regulation and the Model Contract of transactions with the plots of land belonging to State property or the right to permanent land tenure. The Regulation consists of III Sections. Section I lays down the general provisions. Section II establishes the modalities of sale of the right to permanent land tenure or of the plots of land belonging to State property. Section III establishes the modalities of sale of the right to permanent land tenure or of the plot of land belonging to State property through land auctions.

This Decree lays down detailed rules regarding the subject and content of real estate registration. It specifies one by one rights and facts that must or may be registered on property records. It also specifies the categories of real estates, such as crop field, grass land, vineyard, orchard, forest, fish pond, uncultivated land, and various kind of buildings. Real estate registration process, changing of recorded data, and the necessary documents for the registration are also described in this Decree.

El Reglamento crea las Comisiones de Asuntos Agrarios a nivel nacional, provincial y municipal, como órganos que evalúan las temáticas relacionadas con la legislación agraria y coordinan las acciones a ejecutar.

This Code contains legal foundation of the all-round rational use and protection of subsoil, provides for safeguard of the interests of state and citizens of the Republic of Belarus as well as the rights of the users of subsoil. The document consists of XI Sections that contain 60 articles. Section I lays down the general provisions. Section II regards state regulation in the field of use and protection of subsoil.
