The present Law implements and complete the Federal Soil Protection Act of 17 March 1998 (BGBl. I p. 502). The text consists of 17 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Soil information system (II); Special provisions, data protection and data transmission, costs (III); Competent authorities, inspection, penalties (IV).

The present Code of practice provides for the beneficial use of specified industrial by-products on land. Moreover, the Code provides consistent requirements across the province and protects the quality of soil as well as the surface and groundwater on sites where the by-products are applied. As of September 1, 2007 a discharger must complete and submit a notification form at least 30 days prior to a proposed soil amendment application greater than 5m3.

La presente Ley rige la conservación del manejo del recurso natural suelo y recuperación de las tierras degradadas por la acción antrópica en la Provincia de Corrientes. Se incluyen dentro del concepto de degradación los efectos de los agentes que ocasionan la pérdida del suelo, como el agua y el viento o la alteración de sus características originales por aquellas que provoquen acciones mecánicas, físicas, químicas o biológicas como consecuencia de la intervención humana. Además, la Ley regula la creación y funcionamiento de los consorcios de conservación del suelo.

The present Regulation enacts the Environmental Management Act. This “Summary of Site Condition” will serve several purposes. It will provide the Ministry of Environment with a summary of key information that will be used to understand the status of investigations and remediation, the nature and extent of remediation that is proposed or has been undertaken, further work that will be required, or closure documentation requested that is authorized by legislation and regulations in British Columbia.

This Act provides rules relative to the survey of soil and land and the demarcation of land with boundary marks. It also provides for the protection of boundary marks and defines the powers of the Director of Geological Survey, officers of the Geological Survey Department and other persons authorized to carry out land or soil survey.Only authorized persons (e.g. official and licensed surveyors) may carry out surveys of land for the purpose of preparing any plan for attachment to any instrument or conveyance, leases, assignments, charge or transfer.

This Act provides rules relative to the physical development of public and private land in Grenada so as to, among other things: ensure sustainable land use; maintain and improve the quality of the physical environment; provide for the orderly subdivision of land; and protect and conserve the natural and cultural heritage of Grenada.As for the administration of this Act, the Development Control Authority established by the Land Development Control Act, is continued as the Panning and Development Authority.

La presente Ley complementa el artículo 38 de la Ley Nº 6.253, el cual prohíbe en todo el territorio provincial la quema de vegetación (arraigada o seca) para evitar la degradación de los suelos y la atmósfera, y el consiguiente desequilibrio del ecosistema. En virtud de lo establecido por esta nueva disposición, queda además prohibido recibir caña de azúcar quemada y cosechada con máquinas integrales.

Enmienda: Ley Nº 6.253 - Normas generales y metodología de aplicación para la defensa, conservación y mejoramiento del ambiente. (1991)

La presente Ley modifica el artículo 38 de la Ley Nº 6.253 sobre defensa, conservación y mejoramiento del ambiente. La nueva disposición prohíbe en todo el territorio provincial la quema de vegetación enraizada, arraigada, aclimatada o seca para evitar la degradación de los suelos, la atmósfera, los daños a la salud de la población y el desequilibrio del ecosistema.

The Act provides for the vesting of the foreshore and the floor of the sea in the State and regulates the use and control of those areas and related matters. The “floor of the sea” means the soil and subsoil of the sea off the coast of Dominica between the low-water mark and so far out to sea as is deemed by law to be within the territorial sea. Use of the foreshore and the floor of the sea requires a licence. Exempted from such obligation are agriculture, rights of fishermen in or over any beach or adjoining land before the Act came into operation and other rights specified in section 10.

La présente ordonnance a pour objet de définir les règles relatives à l’aménagement, à la protection, à la gestion et à la valorisation du littoral, dans le cadre d’une approche de gestion intégrée des ressources côtières.

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of five articles, lays down provisions concerning establishing the area for which land improvement devices have good impact, depending on types of land improvement devices. The borders of areas are documented on maps where the network of existing land improvement devices is drawn.
