National Academic Research and Collaborations Information System (NARCIS) is the main Dutch national portal for those looking for information about researchers and their work. NARCIS aggregates data from around 30 institutional repositories. Besides researchers, NARCIS is also used by students, journalists and people working in educational and government institutions as well as the business sector.
NARCIS provides access to scientific information, including (open access) publications from the repositories of all the Dutch universities, KNAW, NWO and a number of research institutes, datasets from some data archives as well as descriptions of research projects, researchers and research institutes.
This means that NARCIS cannot be used as an entry point to access complete overviews of publications of researchers (yet). However, there are more institutions that make all their scientific publications accessible via NARCIS. By doing so, it will become possible to create much more complete publication lists of researchers.
In 2004, the development of NARCIS started as a cooperation project of KNAW Research Information, NWO, VSNU and METIS, as part of the development of services within the DARE programme of SURFfoundation. This project resulted in the NARCIS portal, in which the DAREnet service was incorporated in January 2007. NARCIS has been part of DANS since 2011.
DANS - Data Archiving and Networked Services - is the Netherlands Institute for permanent access to digital research resources. DANS encourages researchers to make their digital research data and related outputs Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.

Hoe meer Nederlanders zich verbonden voelen met de omgeving waarin ze leven en daar actief aan bijdragen, hoe beter we samen kunnen zorgen voor een Nederlands landschap waar we trots op zijn. In de Agenda Landschap - die het kabinet in 2008 heeft uitgebracht - introduceren de ministeries van LNV en VROM daarom een nieuwe manier van werken aan het landschap, waarbij bedrijven en burgers centraal staan. Het ministerie van LNV heeft laten onderzoeken of er nu al op de nieuwe manier wordt gewerkt, hoe dat werkt en waar kansen liggen voor verbetering.
Qualitative assessment of the High Resolution soil sealing layer for the Netherlands
The CLC2006 databases were produced by the Centre for Geo-Information (Alterra-WUR), the NRC Land cover for the Netherlands. The national CLC2006 project took place under the umbrella of the overall GMES Fast Track Service Percursor (FTSP) Land Monitoring. The basis for the production of the CLC2006 databases was the CLC2000 database that was also produced by the same team of Alterra. Alterra was also involved in the production of the CLC1990 database and the change database between 1990 and 2000.

Frankrijk en Zwitserland hebben een planningssysteem met verplichte ruimtelijke plannen en vrijwillige landschapsplannen. Landschap als een verplicht onderdeel van ruimtelijke plannen. Landschapsplannen worden vaak gemaakt in een samenwerking van meerdere lokale overheden. Ze worden aan het begin van een planningsproces ingezet voor het maken van een analyse, het creëren van draagvlak en het vormen van een visie. Het Nederlandse beleid voor landschapsontwikkelingsplannen zou kunnen leren van het buitenland door meer landschapsregels in te zetten en een centrale kennisbasis op te zetten.
Blueprint for EUROSCAPE 2020 : reframing the Future of the European Landscape : policy visions and research report
This Blueprint for EUROSCAPE 2020 proposes to undertake a radically new strategic operational approach for the European Union when defining targets for its territorial policies. The key principles are: (1) to establish a policy monitoring for rural development on the basis of a landscape functions; (2) introduce new spatial planning instruments to support Polycentric Regions and Vital Bridges; and (3) develop new forms of governance involving local and regional authorities, people and decision-makers.
Natuur en landschap van rijk naar provincies: verkenning van het Investeringsbudget Landelijk Gebied
Met dit onderzoek wil het LEI meer inzicht krijgen in het functioneren van het ILG. Daartoe zijn in totaal 33 respondenten binnen de provincie bereid gevonden tot het invullen van een enquête. Natuur is volgens de respondenten het belangrijkste onderdeel van ILG, gevolgd door landbouw, landschap en water. Nemen we de budgetten als maat, dan is de volgorde: natuur, recreatie, landbouw, landschap, bodem en tot slot water
