This Provincial Act is divided into five Titles. The aims pursued are the protection of any kind of land falling within the provincial territory, giving particular regard to forests, mountain grasslands and pastures, in order to ensure their conservation and productivity and to guarantee their rational and sustainable use.

This Act prohibits the use of pesticides on forestland and the treatment of single tree trunks, except for the control of a disease specified in section 1. Certain exceptions are allowed for scientific purposes and under control of the Forest Protection Council. Municipal councils may restrict use further in their respective territories.

This Regional Law establishes legal grounds in the sphere of land reclamation ensuring efficient land tenure and protection of drained land.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be to regulate social relations in the sphere of historical and cultural heritage, ensuring access thereto of citizens and conservation and promotion of historical and cultural habitats of the regional population. Objects of cultural heritage shall be classified as federal, regional and local (municipal).

These provisions concern the rearrangement and promote the setting up of the Regole, including those regulated under Regional Act No. 48 of 1975. This Act recognizes the Regole as mountain organizations aimed at the environmental protection and economic development of mountain territories.
