Forest Tenure

This Act provides for the management of land and natural resources in the county of Finnmark. This shall be done in a balanced and ecologically sustainable manner for the benefit of the residents of the county and particularly as so as to enhance Sami culture, reindeer husbandry, use of non-cultivated areas, commercial activity and social life.

The present Law introduces some minor amendments to the Land Transaction Law 2001 (LGBl. 9/2002). In particular, the Law amends article 2 dealing with legal transactions of forestry land. The text consists of 4 articles.

This Provincial Act sets out the legislative framework governing the management of public lands destined to public uses, particulary agro-forestry and silvopastoralism. The Act aims at the environmental protection and economic development of those lands. The Act further regulates the right of use of these public lands.

This Act makes provision for the conservation of nature and the protection of the environment in the Cook Islands. It shall apply to such parts of the Cook Islands and Cook Islands waters as are specified from time to time by the Queen's Representative by Order in Executive Council.

The present Act introduces some amendments to the Crown Lands and Forests Act.

This Act aims at the improvement and protection of agricultural and forest resources in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, particularly through the promotion of agriculture in mountain areas. The rational exploitation of land in mountain territories is among the objectives hereby pursued. The latter include private undertakings and public interventions (art. 3).

This regional law establishes the modalities of land use planning of urban land based upon coordination of public and private interests and conservation of urban forests and forest parks. Regional administration shall be competent in the field of mapping and modification of urban land boundaries.

This Act, consisting of three Parts completed by eight Schedules, provides for the transfer of certain lands, including certain state forests, to the national park estate or to aboriginal ownership. The borders of the areas transferred are indicated in the schedules attached to the Act.
