This Act contains rules relative to real property and especially the lease and disposal of land.It prescribes rules relative to the manner of giving effect to equitable interests and powers, creation and disposition of equitable interests, vesting orders and dispositions of legal estates operating as conveyances by an estate owner, leasehold, rights on real property in case of infancy, lunacy or death, common ownership, registration of rights, etc.

Amending Act on the interpretation of federal legislation in respect of the Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.

The present Act introduces some Amendments to the following Acts: the Foodstuff and Feedstuff Codex of 1 September 2005 (BGBl. I p, 2618); Act on a Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food of 2 August 1994 (BGBl. I p. 2018); Land Lease Act of 8 November 1985 (BGBl. I p. 2075).the Land Parcel Act of 28 July 1961 (BGBl. I p. 1091); Hop Act of 21 October 1996 (BGBl. I p. 1530); the first sentence of the Animal Disease Act in its consolidated version of 22 June 2004 (BGBl. I p. 1260); article 17 of the Animal Protection Slaughtering Ordinance of 3 March 1997 (BGBl. I p.406).

Order No. 135 of the Ministry of Justice validating the Instruction on state registration of the contracts of lease of immovable property.

This Order establishes the modalities of registration of the contracts of lease of immovable property (including land) except for industrial enterprises, plots of forests, separate waterbodies and perennial plants. Plots of land and other nature complexes may be allotted on lease. Expropriated land shall not be allotted on lease except for special cases envisaged by legislation. Lease contract shall be subject to state registration if not otherwise envisaged by the current legislation.

Instruction No. 1102-r of the Ministry of Property Relations validating Methodical Recommendations on determination of market price of the right of lease of plots of land.

This Instruction establishes that market price of the right of lease of a plot of land depends on legal power of the land tenant, the period of land tenure, encumbrance of the tenancy right, the rights of other persons to the plot of land, purposeful use and authorized use of the plot of land. Market price of the right of lease of a plot of land depends on the expected amount of income, duration and probability of acquisition of income from lease of land on condition of the most efficient management of the plot of land by land tenant.

Rock Oyster Farming Regulations, 1964.

These Regulations make provision for the leasing of land for the purpose of rock oyster farming.The Regulations prescribe the procedures for applying for leases, the granting of leases, and the form of leases, and the conditions that are to be implied in all leases.The Regulations further prescribe matters relating to the management of rock oyster farms and the steps to be taken when rock oysters in an oyster farm become diseased or contaminated.

This Act sets out the conditions and procedures for the partition of land held by more than one tenant, i.e. joint tenants and tenants in common.Any person entitled to claim partition may apply to Court for partition, which shall, after issue of an order of partition by Court, take place in the matter as specified by this Act. The Court may also direct the sale of the property if it thinks this to be more beneficial to the parties involved to distribute proceeds of the sale among them instead of carrying out the partition.

This Implementing Regulation is composed of 32 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 2 charges the Committee of Industrial Zones Affairs to propose and define areas and sites for the establishment of industries. Articles 3 to 5 define competencies of the Department of Industrial Zones, in particular to: divide industrial zones by the cooperation with Physical Planning Department and with the Environment Apparatus; prepare maps; and, keep a register for industrial zones.

Title by Registration (New Register) Act (Cap. 56:51).

This Act directs the Registrar of Titles to make a new register of titles for Dominica. This Act applies only in cases where certificates of title which were registered in the old register have been destroyed. The Act contains rules relative to (application for) registration and evidence of title. The Act also provides for the lodging of caveats for the establishment of interests in land other than freehold and certain leaseholds.
