This Act amends the Shooting and Fishing Leases Act by replacing section 18. That section grants power to the Minister to make regulations for the purposes of this Act, and, in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of that power, may make regulations – (a) for the levying of charges and the taking of fees; (b) amending the Schedule. Regulations made under this section may provide that any person who contravenes them shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 20,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.

This Act provides with respect to the protection of the environment in Seychelles. It designates the Ministry or Department of the Government under the Minister responsible for the environment as the Ministry for the purposes of this Act and defines its functions and powers.

Por medio de la presente Ley se declara emergencia pública ambiental en la superficie de la Cuenca El Morro y su área de Influencia, comprendida en el territorio de la provincia de San Luis, por el término de cinco años. La Estrategia Nacional de Manejo de Cuencas Hidrográficas se enmarca en el Plan Estratégico Institucional (PEI) del MAG, denominado “Agricultura para el Buen Vivir” (una de cuyas prioridades sentar las bases para la adaptación del sector agropecuario al cambio climático) y en los lineamientos plasmados en el Plan Quinquenal de Desarrollo 2014-2019, que establece en su Objetivo 7 la ejecución de acciones que permitan al país transitar hacia una economía y sociedad ambientalmente sustentable y resilientes a los efectos del cambio climático.

This Act provides with respect to the management and conservation of forest resources in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It also provides for the protection of water resources present in forest areas and lease of forest land.

These Regulations are enacted in order to promote the development of rural forestry and give full play to the role of forest and woodland resources in rural economic construction in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.
