The National Integrated Coastal Management Framework (NICMF) and Implementation Strategy for Vanuatu is a cross-sectoral strategy enacted in 2010 that seeks to give substance to the national vision for sustainable coastal environmental management by prescribing institutional arrangements needed for management of the coastal ecosystem, and identifies relevant stakeholders to support the process for implementing management and development activities.

The Agricultural Perspective Plan (APP) is a national strategy with a cross-sectoral approach with a duration of twenty years (1995-2015). Its goal is to add two percentage points to the country’s agricultural growth which would expand per capita agricultural growth sixfold, from its current 0.5% to 3% per year. The APP strategy is based on the acceleration of the agricultural growth rate sufficiently to obtrain strong multiplier effect on growth in employment, both in agriculture itself and in nonagricultural sectors.

These Regulations, consisting of 15 sections and one Schedule, regulate wardens related to Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana). These regulations are made under the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act 2011. They provide for the appointment of wardens by a customary marine title group to promote compliance with a prohibition or restriction that applies to a protected wāhi tapu or wāhi tapu area. The Schedule deals with: Transitional, savings, and related provisions.

Law on payments for land.

The objective of land payment shall be to ensure through economic methods rational use of land, to form resources for carrying out measures of land organization, improvement of land quality and land conservation, as well as of social development of the territory. Issues related to establishment, the present Law, the Land Code, shall regulate collection and use of land payment and other legislative acts. Land payment shall be compulsory for all land owners, land users, including lessees, and land proprietors, except cases stipulated by the present Law and other legislative acts.
