These Regulations specify the manner in which a registration authority must amend the registers which it maintains pursuant to the Commons Registration Act 1965, when it receives an order under section 17 of the Commons Act 2006. Where an application for is deregistration of land as common land or as a town or village green, and registration of other land in replacement is granted, section 17(1) and (2) of the 2006 Act requires the Welsh Ministers to make an order directing the commons registration authority to amend its register of common land or town or village greens accordingly.

This Order brings into force and makes transitional provisions in relation with provisions of the which relate to deregistration and exchange of, and works on, common land, together with related appeals and all remaining purposes provisions which relate to deregistration and exchange of, and works on, common land.

These Regulations make provision with respect to the procedure for applications for the deregistration, or the deregistration and exchange, of land registered in a register of common land or a register of town or villagegreens. Applications under section 16 of the Commons Act 2006 for deregistration must be made to the Welsh Ministers. The Regulations also provide for the management and determination of applications, including provision for representations, holding site inspections and hearings or inquiries in appropriate cases.

This Act, consisting of 173 sections divided into 13 Parts and completed by three Schedules, provides for the registration of title to land, easements and possessory titles. The Recorder of Titles, appointed by the Governor, is the statutory officer responsible for providing the community with certainty of title to land by the development and administration of legislation governing land dealings in Tasmania. The Act sets out procedures for bringing land under this Act.

This Act provides for the registration of strata titles, i.e. title in strata lots in accordance with a strata plan. The Registrar of Titles shall keep a register of strata plans and shall record therein particulars of all strata plans lodged in his office for registration pursuant to the Act. The Act also provides for the management of the common property by a corporation to be formed, upon registration, by proprietors of strata lots included in a strata plan. It also, among other things, provides with respect to easements and sets out the requirements of a strata plan.

This Act amends the Strata Titles Registration Act so as to provide for functions of the Deputy Registrar. It defines the office of the Deputy Registrar and amends sections 2, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 so as to insert the word "Deputy Registrar" after the word "Titles" wherever that word appears.

For the purpose of the present Law “Infrastructure for spatial information” means metadata, spatial data sets and spatial data services; network services and technologies; agreements on sharing, access and use.

The Act principally concerns the registration of interests in land. This Act shall apply to: (a) registration of interests in all public land as declared by Article 62 of the Constitution; (b) registration of interests in all private land as declared by Article 64 of the Constitution; and (c) registration and recording of community interests in land.The National Land Commission in consultation with national and county governments may, by order in the Gazette, constitute an area or areas of land to be a land registration unit and may at any time vary the limits of any such units.
