I am a qualified Civil Engineer with a PhD in Geomatics from the University of Melbourne and with several years of experience in management consulting, academic research, project management and policy development. I currently work as an independent consultant based in Sydney, Australia.

I maintain a wide range of interests including land administration, GIS, Spatial data infrastructures, land use planning, transportation and stakeholder management. My focus is on using highly developed technical skills in spatial analysis, land-use modelling and economic analysis to develop, consolidate and implement policies and projects.

I am involved in academic research and lecturing by publishing in journals and attending conferences. I am currently a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne Centre for SDI and Land Administration (http://www.csdila.unimelb.edu.au/).

I am also the World Secretary for the United Nations Committee for Global Geospatial Information Management (http://unggim.academicnetwork.org/) and the Elected Chair of Commission 7 - Cadastre and Land Management - of the Fédération Internationale des Géomètres (FIG) for the period 2019 - 2023 (http://fig.net/organisation/comm/7/index.asp).
