This study was conducted to characterize the production and marketing system of village chickens in Gomma Wereda of Jimma Zone. Six Kebeles were selected using multistage random sampling from each of which 30 Households (HHs) were randomly selected. A survey was conducted on the selected HHs pertaining indigenous chicken management, marketing and productivity.
