This Order modifies the approving the Implementing Regulation on the Measures for Agro-environment of Rural Development Plan (RURIS). In particular, it amends article 4 of the Order and articles 3, 9, 10, 12-18, 20- 22, 24, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 35-38, 42, 51, 59, 61-63, 65, 68, 71, 77, 79, 83, 85,87-92, 94 and Annexes IV, VII, VIII, IX of the Regulation.

Amends: Order No. 1212/2003 approving the Implementing Regulation on the Measures for Agro-environment of Rural Development Plan (RURIS). (2003-10-16)

This Order, composed of 3 articles and one Annex, approves the Regulation for the environmental measures to be applied within the Rural Development Plan - RURIS. The Regulation, contained in the Annex, consists of 8 chapters and 10 Annexes. It establishes the financial assistance regime with the aim of promoting agricultural land exploitation according to the protection and improvement of the environmental sector. The Regulation also aims at preserving nature from pollution and promoting the use of environmental planning for agricultural exploitations.

The present Decision provides for the approval of the Land Use Planning and for the development of industrial, touristic, infrastructural and housing projects in order to rehabilitate, recuperate and develop unused, public, agricultural and urban lands.

This Act provides for the institution of “Conservation Areas”, i.e. areas declared to be such under section 3. Conservation Areas may include marine areas within the territorial sea, any terrestrial area including swamps, islets, reef flats, channels, sand banks and coral reef" in the territory of Tuvalu.

The purposes of this Act are set out in article 1.

The Contracting States, in the belief that objectives set out in the Preamble would be better achieved by amending the 1968 Algiers Convention on the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources by expanding elements related to sustainable development, have agreed on measures to enhance environmental protection, to foster the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources; and to harmonize and coordinate policies in these fields with a view to achieving ecologically rational, economically sound and socially acceptable development policies and programs for the Convention area.

This Resolution, composed of 6 articles, approves the Coastal Waters’ Management Plan (POOC) for the area Sintra-Sado and the related Regulation. The aim of the POOC is to match the protection and valorisation of the biological diversity and the landscape with natural resources’ public use and the socio-economic development of Lisbon metropolitan area. The Regulation consists of 104 articles and 11 Annexes. It classifies coastal land starting by the distinction between urban and rural land.

The purpose of this Act, consisting of 11 Parts, is to establish a framework for planning the use, development and protection of land in Victoria in the present and long-term interests of all Victorians (sect. 1).
