The Other Media was established in 1992 as a Center for supporting people’s organisations and movements in India include providing campaigns, advocacy, communications, research, training and scientific support to and mobilising solidarity for community struggles against injustice. NeBIO- an International journal of Environment and Biodiversity, a peer review quarterly official journal of North East Centre for Environmental Education and Research (NECEER), Imphal, Manipur. History of the GPO

The Global Partnership for Oceans was launched in 2012 as a new approach to restoring ocean health. It sought to mobilize finance and knowledge to activate proven solutions for the benefit of communities, countries and global well-being.
