La question foncière est un enjeu majeur de développement pour le Burundi Le pays est confronté à une importante croissance démographique, à une multiplication des conflits sur la terre liés à la perte de valeur du témoignage oral du système traditionnel, à la situation post-conflit qui voit le retour massif des réfugiés et des déplacés, ce qui accroit de plus en plus la pression foncière. De plus, le Code foncier appliqué jusqu’aujourd’hui date du 1er septembre 1986.

This Order amends section 1 of the Forestry Act 1967 by modifying, in accordance with section 59 of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009, the functions of the Forestry Commissioners, to enable and require them to use land in Scotland placed at their disposal in the such a way as to contribute to the delivery of the climate change targets which are set in or under that Act.

This Law, consisting of 6 Chapters, aims at regulating the territorial planning of Mozambique, in order to guarantee the organization and sustainable use of the environment. It establishes regulations for the following sectors: General provisions (Chap. I), Territorial Management System (Chap. II), Territorial Planning Tools (Chap. III), Citizen Rights and Obligations (Chap. IV), Evaluation, Monitoring and Inspections (Chap. V).

Item 119-1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 119-1. Land for activity in outer space. Land destined for activity in outer space shall be land allotted for space infrastructure and land conservation area. Reservation of land for the aforesaid purposes shall be carried out in accordance with this Code.”

This Act provides for the establishment of the office of Public Trustee as a corporation and appointment of a Public Trustee by the Governor-General and defines the powers and functions of the Public Trustee. The Act also provides rules for the acceptance and administration of trusts by the Public Trustee and the administration of small estates by persons appointed by the Public Trustee upon application.

This Act declares all land previously vested in the Agricultural and Marine Products Board and the Telecommunications Board to be vested in the Treasurer. The land in question shall be held by the Treasurer in trust for Her Majesty in right of Her Government of The Bahama Islands for public purposes.

This Order, made under section 12 of the Public Trustee Act, specifies the fees shall be charged in respect of the duties of the Public Trustee, provides for the calculation of such fees and provides for settlement of disputes regarding the duty to pay fees. Fees that shall be charged in respect of the duties of the Public Trustee are: (a) an acceptance fee; (b) an administration fee; (c) a withdrawal fee; (d) fees for special services.
