La presente Ley tiene como objetivos la protección, el desarrollo y el fortalecimiento de la actividad platanera. Para ello, introduce normas tendientes a garantizar la seguridad en la tenencia de la tierra. En particular, declara inafectables e inexpropiables las tierras nacionales, ejidales o de propiedad privada dedicadas al cultivo del plátano. Asimismo, establece disposiciones para la adjudicación en dominio pleno de predios cultivados con plátano.

The present Regulation implements the Crown Lands Act (Chapter C340). Section 2 establishes that a person who uses or occupies land under the authority of a permit, lease, licence or easement issued or granted by the minister under the above-mentioned Act shall pay the fee for that use or occupation that is required by the present Regulation. This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Cao Bang province.The plan, in particular, shall: raise the forest coverage; solve the issues of environmental sanitation in urban centres, border gates, industrial parks and ore mining areas; assure food hygiene and safety; etc.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Quang Ninh Province.

This Decision approves the scheme on the socio-economic development of the Lai Chau Province.The plan, among other things, shall: bring into full play the province’s advantages in its border locations, minerals, hydropower, land and climate for economic development; concentrate on hunger eradication; protect and develop forest resources.

These Regulations specify the depth up to which the underground land directly and immediately below the alienated land may be used, and different depths may be specified in respect of different parts of such underground land.

This Act vests all Crown lands in the Governor-General and prvides for some matters with respect to dealings in Crown lands.“Crown lands”are all lands already acquired or to be acquired by the Government and not otherwise vested by law. The Governor-General may appoint, for purposes of dealing with any Crown Lands, such Land Board as he or she shall think fit and may appoint a Land Officer for carrying out the purposes of this Act. The Cabinet may make Regulations with respect to the terms and conditions on which Crown Lands may be rented, leased, occupied, sold or otherwise dealt with.

This Act makes provision for some aspects relating to the settlement on land. The Cabinet may, by Order, declare any area of Crown land to a settlement area. A settlement area shall be destined for the settlement of small agricultural holdings and the land allocated shall be subject to restrictions as to the disposal of the land and crops thereon. The Act further provides for regulation-making powers of the Cabinet.
