This Regulation amends articles 1(1), 1(2), 11(3) and 11(5) of Regulation No. 831 of 1998. According to these new provisions, the study on agricultural and forestry lands registered in the Immovable Property Office can be prepared by the Directorate of Agriculture and Food or the Forestry Service Directorate. These studies are then approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

This Act makes provision for the control of activities affecting beaches and inshore waters of Seychelles. It grants regulation-making powers to the Minister regarding use of pleasure boats, use of the seashore, prohibition of pollution, use of animals on the shore, fishing in areas of inshore waters and other activities affecting beaches or inshore waters.

This Act grants the power to the President of Seychelles to grant leases to the owners of islands or parts thereof and to lessees of State lands in Seychelles of the reserves along the seacoast. Leases shall be granted for not more than ten years but may be renewed for further periods of ten years. Leases shall be granted at conditions as the President may deem fit provisions, article 538 of the Civil Code notwithstanding.

This Act grants powers to the Minister to constitute Forest Reserves and lays down rules relative to acts in or in relation with such reserve. The Minister may constitute a Forest Reserve by Order published in the Official Gazette and may also direct, in the same manner, the cessation of a Reserve. Provisions of the State Lands and River Reserves Act notwithstanding, the President or the government may not sell, lease or mortgage land in Forest Reserves. Cutting down of trees or lighting of fires without a written permission of the Chief Agricultural Officer is prohibited.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Beach Control Act for the control of activities affecting beaches and inshore waters of Seychelles. The Regulations place restrictions on water skiing, use of motorboats and similar activities, provides for the control of activities above the low-water mark and the appointment of beach wardens and inspectors.

El presente Acuerdo tiene por objeto la reglamentación de la Ley de adjudicación de bienes inmuebles propiedad del Estado a favor de familias en situación de pobreza y extrema pobreza. En particular, regula los procedimientos de adjudicación, de levantamiento de censos poblacionales y del inventario del patrimonio inmobiliario del Estado.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Timber Resources Management Act, 1997 with respect to the granting of timber rights and related matters and regulate the calculation and payment of stumpage fees and the registration and use of chainsaws.The Regulations set out the procedures for the inventory and reservation of specified lands for timber utilization. The Chief Conservator of Forests shall identify lands suitable for grant of timber utilization contracts and initiate procedures of inventory of forest resources on such land and to obtain consent of landowners.

Article 25.2 of the Federal Law No. 122-FZ on state registration of immovable property and its transactions shall acquire a new wording: “The grounds for the state registration of the ownership right to a plot of land shall be: (a) deed on allotment of a plot of land; (b) land certificate attesting the right of citizen to a plot of land; (c) vidimus issued by the local self-government (if the plot of land has been allotted for subsidiary small-holding); (d) any other certificate attesting the right of citizen to a plot of land”. The present Regulation lays down provisions relating to the alienation of agricultural lands in the domain of the State to certain occupants. For the purposes of this Regulation, an occupant is a person who, at 1 July 1984, occupied without right a parcel of land that was ungranted or that has become ungranted since that date. The Minister may, at any time, register in respect of a parcel of land, whether occupied or not, a declaration stating that it forms part of the public domain.
