Regional Law No. 1929-ZRK “On price of some plots of land located in urban areas and destined for agricultural production”.

This Regional Law establishes that price of a plot of land located in urban areas and destined for agricultural production already allotted to peasant farm on condition of permanent (open-ended) possession or as lifelong hereditary possession in case of purchase thereof by the aforesaid categories of tenants shall be 15 percent of estimated cadastre value at the date of submittal of application.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities, terms and conditions of concession of right of ownership or lease of urban land for payment related to public and municipal land. Concession of urban land in ownership can be carried out through direct sale of land. The provisions of this Decree shall not be applicable to concession of the plots of land free of charge.

This Regional Law delimits plenary powers of the Regional Assembly, Regional Government and regional executive bodies in the sphere of land tenure and land management. It envisages the issues of land governance and, in particular, the modalities of lease of land in accordance with contracts, terms and conditions of allotment of agricultural land to citizens. It also establishes minimum and maximum land areas conceded in ownership to citizens for horticulture, gardening and suburban housing construction, and also concession of public and municipal land to citizens for stockbreeding.

This Act makes provision for return of properties expropriated by the Government to their former owners and related matters. Any property or business which was vested in the Government or appropriated or otherwise acquired by the Government under specified legislation remain vested in the Government and be managed by the Ministry responsible for finance.

This Act makes provision for the judgement of claims in land, for the adjudication and registration of title in land and various other related matters. The Act consists of 99 sections divided into 6 Chapters.This Act shall apply to land in any district, area or place in Kenya as the President may, by Proclamation published in the Gazette, determine. For purposes of adjudication and registration of title, the President may appoint a Recorder of Titles and there is established the Land Registration Court.

This Decree is composed of 7 articles and it sets forth the conditions and procedures for state- owned land seizure according to law No. 143 of 1981. Any agriculture land, reclaimed or desert land depending on the circumstances and according to the procedures stated in the provisions of this Decree. The procedures include submission of forms and other required documentations to be presented by the concerned people as well as their agricultural card issued by the competent Agricultural cooperative association.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of the Thai Binh province. This plan shall be closely combined with the rational exploitation and protection of natural resources and ecological environment.The plan, among other things, shall: adopt policies on the management and rational use of natural resources, especially land, water sources, minerals, submerged forests; prevent and effectively handle acts causing environmental pollution; and invest in the collection, recycling and treatment of waste.

La presente Ley de estabilidad de la propiedad, tiene por objeto el logro de la estabilidad de la titulación para los beneficiarios de la Reforma Agraria y Reforma Urbana. Dispone que las solvencias de Ordenamiento Territorial y las resoluciones denegatorias dictadas por la Oficina de Ordenamiento Territorial (OOT) que se encuentren firmes, tendrán carácter de documento público con el mismo valor legal que establece el Código de Procedimiento Civil.

The text consist of 26 sections divided into 4 Parts: Introductory (I); Control of Hill Land (II); Control of Silt and Erosion (III); General (IV).The Governor of a State may declare any area to be hill land for purposes of this Act. Such an area shall be registered and various activities within hill land are prohibited or restricted. Cultivation of short term crops is prohibited and other cultivation restricted. Hill land may be cleared with permission of the Collector as defined in section 2, for purpose of cultivation and for purposes of fighting weeds.
