The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the treatment of sewage sludge, biogenic waste, biowaste, and green waste on agricultural land. The text consists of 13 articles dealing with definition of terms, treatment of biogenic waste and sewage sludge, requirements of biogenic waste to be used on agricultural land, bringing into circulation, and entry into force. Seven Annexes are enclosed.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Survey Act with respect to the Land Surveyors Board, the Standing Committee on Geographical Names, the examination and issue of licences, land survey operations, government land surveys and resolution of disputes. The Regulations also provide for the reservation of land in case of survey for purposes of alienation of government land in coastal areas and near to lakes or tidal rivers.

El presente Real Decreto aprueba el Reglamento de Gestión Urbanística para el desarrollo y aplicación de la Ley sobre régimen del suelo y ordenación urbana, que dispone que la ejecución del planeamiento urbanístico corresponde, dentro de sus respectivas esferas de actuación, a la administración del Estado, a las entidades locales, a las entidades urbanísticas especiales y a los particulares.

El presente Decreto crea la Unidad de Planificación de Tierras Rurales, Adecuación de Tierras y Usos Agropecuarios (UPRA), que tiene por objeto orientar la política de gestión del territorio para usos agropecuarios, para lo cual la UPRA planificará, producirá lineamientos, indicadores y criterios técnicos para la toma de decisiones sobre el ordenamiento social de la propiedad de la tierra rural, el uso eficiente del suelo para fines agropecuarios, la adecuación de tierras, el mercado de tierras rurales y el seguimiento y evaluación de las políticas públicas en estas materias.

This Ordinance empowers the Council Committee to order in writing the owner or occupier of land to undertake or adopt such measures as they may deem necessary for the conservation of natural resources on such land and the prevention of injury to the natural resources on other land. Such Order may be made for prohibiting, regulating or controlling, among other things: (a) the breaking or clearing of land for the purposes of cultivation; (b) the grazing or watering of livestock; (c) the firing, clearing or destruction of vegetation; or (d) afforestation of deforestation.

These Rules provide for the protection of land of which the slope exceeds a specified percentage. Cultivation, grazing, destruction of vegetation on such land without an authorization of the authorized officer shall be an offence. The soil shall be adequately protection against erosion by conservation works. Other offences defined by these Rules include grazing of livestock or destruction of vegetation near a watercourse and use of channel, ditch or drainage way which has been constructed for the removal of run-off water, for other purposes.

These Rules require consent to be obtained from the Chief Agricultural and Natural Resources Officer for the removal of living parts of the plant Phormium tenax, including the roots and the base of the leaves. The Chief Agricultural and Natural Resources Officer may in his or her discretion grant or refuse consent, or grant consent under such restrictions or conditions as he or she considers necessary.
