Land Core Group is a Myanmar NGO based in Yangon that works to raise awareness of land issues, and promote policy reform to support small scale farmers and forest dependent peoples throughout Myanmar. Our project activities are as follows

- Conduct research on various aspects of land issues

- Land Rights and Land Law TOT and grassroots trainings

- Advocacy to promote stronger land tenure in policy and law

- Coordination and networking through the broader LCG network

POINT (Promotion of Indigenous and Nature Together) was established in March 2012. It is started as a response to the lack of organization led by “Indigenous Peoples” working for Indigenous Peoples’ issues in Myanmar. In the past, only the religious organizations are the strong civil society working for its related indigenous people’s needs of humanitarian and development assistance to some extent. Therefore, the organization POINT was formed in order to fill the gap of promoting the rights of indigenous peoples along with increased awareness on environmental related knowledge.

London Mining Network (LMN) is an alliance of human rights, development, environmental and solidarity groups.

We work for

• human rights, including the rights of Indigenous Peoples and workers, and
• sustainable development (development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs in communities around the world affected by the activities of mining companies based in or funded from London

The mission of FAO in the Near East and North Africa is to achieve sustainable food security for all and to help vulnerable communities cope with and recover from shocks and crises.

To do this, FAO helps Member States work toward sustainable increases in agriculture production, minimize depletion and degradation of already scarce natural resources, boost rural development and reduce food loss and waste.

This renewed political commitment is based on the full conviction that eradicating hunger in the Region is an achievable target.

IRRI was founded in 2004 to inform and improve responses to the cycles of violence and displacement that are at the heart of large-scale human rights violations. 

Over the last 12 years, we have developed a holistic approach to the protection of human rights before, during, and in the aftermath of displacement, by focusing on: 

• identifying the violations that cause displacement and exile;
• protecting the rights of those who are displaced, and

The Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC) is the largest and oldest academic society dedicated to the study and conservation of tropical ecosystems. Our society is international in scope and membership, with almost 900 members from 65 countries, with whom we seek to:

1. Promote awareness to as broad an audience as possible of the importance of the tropics
2. Improve communication and cooperation among tropical investigators, educators, environmental managers, and local communities

We're the outreach college of the University that brings you information to solve problems and deal with critical issues. We have 18 offices to serve you, whether you live on a ranch near the remote Rubies or in an urban setting in Las Vegas.
