The World Food Programme in Lao PDR has been implementing nutrition-focused interventions targeted for school kids through its School Meal Program targeted with complementary nutrition-sensitive interventions targeted for communities through its Agriculture for Nutrition Program and the Local and Regional Procurement Program.

Heat stress is a global issue constraining pig productivity, and it is likely to intensify under future climate change. Technological advances in earth observation have made tools available that enable identification and mapping livestock species that are at risk of exposure to heat stress due to climate change.

Even though smallholder farmers often experience these challenges simultaneously, interventions to address these challenges are often implemented in a piecemeal fashion.

The aim of this study is to investigate the ex-ante impact of the revision of the Multilateral System of Access and Benefit Sharing (MLS) of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture on CGIAR Centers, and to identify measures to respond to possible negative impacts on CGIAR Centers as recipients and providers of germplasm and associated information under the multilateral system.
