El presente Decreto aprueba el Reglamento para la implementación de la entrega de tierras estatales ociosas en concepto de usufructo a personas naturales o jurídicas, conformando a tal fin el Fondo de tierras ociosas que pueden ser entregadas en usufructo y estableciendo los requisitos y procedimientos que deben cumplir las personas naturales y jurídicas para solicitar la entrega.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria considera la reforma agraria como un proceso integral y un instrumento de transformación de la estructura agraria del país, destinado a sustituir los regímenes de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra, que contribuya al desarrollo social y económico de la Nación.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria tiene como finalidad la transformación de la estructura agraria del país y la facilitación de su desarrollo económico y social, mediante la sustitución del régimen de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra.

This Regional Law establishes that plots of agricultural land within the boundaries of inhabited areas and destined for agricultural production, free of constructions and edifices, allotted on lease on condition of permanent (open-ended) land tenure as a result of renewal of lease contract or renewal of the right of hereditary possession of such land with the right of lease can be purchased in ownership by lease holder at the cost of 15 percent of cadastre value of such plots of land.

The present Regulations are made under the Lands Act. In particular, the Regulations provide for the control of development activities in the St. John’s Urban Region. Section 4 lays down provisions relating to the control of development and establishes that a development shall not be carried out within the development area described in the Schedule except in accordance with the present Regulations. El presente Decreto reglamenta parcialmente la Ley que dicta disposiciones relacionadas con la administración de los bienes incautados en base a un proceso penal por los delitos de narcotráfico y conexos o a una acción de extinción del dominio, en relación a la administración del Fondo para la Rehabilitación, Inversión Social y Lucha contra el Crimen Organizado (FRISCO), respecto de los cuales se declare la extinción de dominio o se hayan decretado o se decreten medidas cautelares en procesos de extinción de dominio.

This peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea ad seeks to resolve the misunderstanding between the parties regarding their common border and establish a neutral Boundary Commission. The parties agree that the delimitation and demarcation determinations of the Commission shall be final and binding. Each party shall respect the border so determined, as well as territorial integrity and sovereignty of the other party. The Agreement also provides for the eatblishment of a a neutral Claims Commission.

This Regulationt enforces the Law of Urban Land of 13 September 1987. The Regulation consists of 75 articles divided in 5 Chapters: Definitions and Regulations related to the Land Construction (I); Rules regarding Recognition of Land (II); Purchase and Ownership of Lands (III); Preparation, Construction and Transfer of Land Ownership (IV); Miscellaneous Provisions (V).The Regulation defines the concepts and explains the provisions of the Urban Land Law based on the Civil Code and other prevailing Act.

Article 1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Privatization of agricultural land plots pertaining to regional or municipal public ownership shall be performed in accordance with Land Code and federal legislation three years after entry into force of this Regional Law”.
