Observatoire du Foncier

En 2005, le gouvernement de Madagascar s’est engagé dans une vaste réforme visant à répondre à la demande de sécurisation foncière massive, dans des brefs délais et à des coûts ajustés, ainsi qu’à instaurer des services de qualité qui répondraient aux attentes des usagers. La mise en place de l’Observatoire du Foncier (OF) répond à la recommandation de la Lettre de Politique Foncière de créer un organisme d’orientation, de suivi et de production d’information.

L’association de droit français Gandhi 2008 International a été fondée le 27 août 2006 dans les locaux de Terre du Ciel à Bruailles (71) avec l’objectif d’organiser en janvier 2008, à l’occasion du 60ème anniversaire de la mort de Gandhi, une rencontre internationale de militants non-violents à Wardha, près du dernier ashram du Mahatma, au centre de l’Inde.

Les Sociétés d’aménagement foncier et d’établissement rural (Safer) permettent à tout porteur de projet viable - qu'il soit agricole, artisanal, de service, résidentiel ou environnemental - de s'installer en milieu rural. Les projets doivent être en cohérence avec les politiques locales et répondre à l'intérêt général.
