This Law sets forth the rules and principles for exploring, producing and protecting geothermal and natural mineral water resources. Geothermal and natural mineral waters belong to the State. A special licence is required to carry out exploration activities.
This Act authorizes the Department of Public Safety to close public beaches during potentially hazardous circumstances. Beaches can be closed in case of natural disasters such as typhoons and other tropical storms and abnormal tidal waves and other extreme climatic or environmental conditions.
This Federal Law regulates relations dealing with state cadastre registration of immovable property, including plots of land. It shall not be applicable to subsoil.
Article 16 shall acquire a new wording: “Article 16. Amount of rent. Payment for land allotted on lease shall be collected in accordance with lease contract.
The President establishes that basic annual rates of rent for lease of public land shall be fixed by local self-government with the application of factors depending on the purposeful use of land. The purposeful use of land shall be classified as agricultural land, urban land and industrial land.
The President establishes administrative liability for unauthorized occupation of land, non-purposeful use of the plot of land, illegal destruction or damage of urban forests or shrubbery, and destruction of the fertile layer of soil or soil pollution.
The purpose of this Law is to clarify the ownership of property and to protect property rights including rights relating to land.This Law shall apply to civil relationship arising from the ownership and utilization of property including movable and real property.
This Law is composed of four articles. It authorizes the Government to rule on land legal order and to review the basic legislation on public expropriation provided by Law No. 2030 of 1948. To this end, the Law lists the fields of application of the above mentioned authorization.
