I am a development and aid professional committed to social justice, gender equality, and poverty alleviation. With 12 years of experience working in development and human rights, I am currently the Country Director in Sierra Leone with the Irish development agency, Trócaire, which specializes in women's empowerment programming, humanitarian response, and local civil society strengthening. I also serve as the Chairperson of the Sierra Leone INGO Steering Committee. I am a graduate of Princeton University with an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway and an MSc in Gender and Development from Central American University.
