Francois Regis has been in the tech field since he started university in 2009. He did Computer Science as a bachelor's degree and a master’s degree in information systems, specialising in AI and Big Data Analytics at Uppsala University in Sweden. He has held several positions in Rwanda, Sweden, and The Netherlands, where he closely engaged with research institutions, development actors and the private sector to foster digitalization and approaches to sustainable development challenges.

As the founder of an IT service company, FADU Tech, through this company, he has the exposure and experience to work with different sectors by offering IT-based solutions and breaking down complex and technical topics for stakeholders to understand.

Francois Regis worked as Webmaster of USAID Land Project, He worked as Managing Director of FADU Tech (IT-based company, https://faduhost.com/) and as Webmaster and Marketing Manager at INES-Ruhengeri. He also served as Webmaster of the Eastern African Land Administration Network.
Since September 2023, Francois Regis has been working at IDH as an IT solutions architect.
