Cuba

Land governance in Cuba has reflected the country's political history. The implementation of a socialist model since the Cuban Revolution resulted in the control of land ownership in the hands of the state or in the hands of cooperative forms under state control. In recent times, economic difficulties have led to the relaxation of the model and the recognition of private property in the 2019 Constitution.
