The present Law lays down provisions relating to consolidation of land in order to create a functional, environment-friendly and efficient agriculture and forestry. Under the present Law a party to consolidation proceedings is normally entitled to receive land corresponding in value to the land the party owned prior to the consolidation proceedings as compensation in kind. In exceptional cases compensation in kind is partly or fully replaced by compensation in money. The text consists of 71 articles divided into 3 Parts as follows: Consolidation of agricultural and forestry land (I); Competent authorities and general legal and administrative proceedings (II); Final provisions (III).
