This study aimed to assess the current land data acquisition system, data sharing mechanism and major challenges in Ethiopia. A total of 26 institutions working mainly on land data collection, management, dissemination, and use were purposively selected. Data were collected from these institutions using face-to-face interviews, focus group discussions and observations.
