The Limpopo Basin is prone to frequent droughts and short season rainfall making agricultural production a very risky enterprise. The need assist to farmers and rural communities to optimize the utilization of low rainwater and existing SWI to boost agricultural productivity, standard of living and reduce poverty.

Ethiopia is home for a large and diverse livestock resources and favourable production environments. The vast majority of the rural population’s livelihood is partly based on livestock production. However, livestock production and productivity and producers’ benefits from livestock production are far below expectations.

Tenure in Mystery collates information on land under conservation, forestry and mining in the Karamoja region. Whereas significant changes in the status of land tenure took place with the Parliamentary approval for degazettement of approximately 54% of the land area under wildlife conservation in 2002, little else happened to deliver this update to the beneficiary communities in the region.
