As previous chief registrar in the Netherlands and President of European Land Registry Association ( ELRA) my specific interest involves the differences beetween title and deeds systems and title insurance systems as well as the differences between physical boundaries, cadastral boundaries ( public law) and civil law boundaries, the consequences of these differences for cross border conveyancing and the consequences of GIS technology.
