I am a former scientist, and an awarded Portuguese creative, with several accomplished multimedia projects focusing on the Cultural Biodiversity/ Biocultural Heritage of Traditional People. My stories have been published in Brasil, Portugal, Netherlands, UK, Indonesia, Germany, Cape Verde (Africa), Canada and USA. Parallel, I have played as an actor in TV, Theatre and Cinema in eight different countries and in four different languages. My photographic work was part of the Cultural Agenda of the Rio Olympics 2016, and has otherwise been shown in solo and collective exhibitions around the world. Recent works include a collaboration with the Chinese artist Wei Wei for a feature film. I'm currently developing a new documentary project about endangered indigenous cultures in the Amazon Rainforest, where my production company is based.
