Holsen
Terje Holsen is an Associated Professor in Land-use Planning and Real Estate at the Department of Property and Law, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
Holsen received his PhD from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (with the name Agricultural University of Norway at that time) in 1993, with additional education from Oxford Brookes University in urban planning.
After completing his doctorate, Holsen has alternated between working in academia and as a professional at the intersection of land-use planning and real estate development. He has worked as a project manager for real estate development projects. In 1994-2002 he was a Research fellow at the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research. In 1998 he was appointed associate professor at NMBU, a position he still holds. In the period 2002-2008 he was appointed Head of department at the Department of Landscape architecture and Spatial planning at NMBU and in the period 2008-2015 he was Property director at NMBU.
