Katie Pickett is an award winning geospatial, international development, and land rights professional with a graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and an undergraduate degree in International Studies, Africana Studies. Katie has provided expert geospatial solutions for international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), governmental agencies, and social-change enterprise companies in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America for the last decade. Katie is Program Manager at Cadasta Foundation based in Washington, D.C. Cadasta develops and promotes the use of simple digital tools and technology to help partners efficiently document, analyze, store, and share critical land and resource rights information. Katie was named one of Geospatial World's 50 Rising Stars in 2021.
