Mounir has earned a PhD.D. and a MS in Landscape Ecology from Oregon State University, USA. He has also obtained a PhD.D. Minor in Earth Information Science and Technology and a MS Minor in Statistics. Mounir has extensive experience and knowledge in sustainable natural resources ecology & management, agricultural technology, and international agricultural research and development aimed at reducing food insecurity, poverty, and environmental degradation in developing countries.
