Land & Climate Change

To prevent climate change from reaching an irreversible point, policies need to align with global mitigation goals. This thesis examines the coherence between agricultural public policies, greenhouse gas emissions, and the economic value generated by various agricultural value chains.

Introduction From 2018 to 2022, the Koronivia Joint Working Group on Agriculture (KJWA) was the key forum for debating global agricultural change and integrating agricultural transformation priorities into the mechanisms of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

We organised an inception Workshop in March with the Agriculture Consultative Forum (ACF), and FANRPAN to introduced iFEED to workgroup memebers and identify policy opportunities in Zambia.

A Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approach is fundamental to agribusiness transformation in the Eastern and Southern Africa region. Work package 5 aims to bring about inclusive and scalable agribusiness innovations through targeted GESI support to UU ESA work packages 1-6.

The training manual on cage fish farming supported the training of the aquaculture youth groups in the selected pilot communities.

A survey was conducted among 52 representatives of the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support.
