This study was carried out in Kibwezi district of Kenya mainly inhabited by agro-pastoralists.

The impact of land use and cover change on soil quality and pasture production was investigated in the rangelands of Nakasongola District, Uganda.

The Badia constitutes about 90% of the total land area of Jordan, which is 89 342 km2. Its average annual rainfall is < 200 mm. The area with annual rainfall of 100–200 mm is considered the promising rangeland for rehabilitation.

This paper examines factors related to the existence of a livestock rental market in western Nepal and assesses whether this is associated with caste differentiation and land rental market participation. This study brings new empirical evidence of livestock rental market against the established view that such market does not exist due to moral hazard.
