La presente Ley dicta normas de distribución de terrenos baldíos a familias pobres del país con fines sociales y productivos, disponiendo que el Consejo Directivo del INCODER señale para cada región o zona las extensiones máximas y mínimas adjudicables de los baldíos productivos en Unidades Agrícolas Familiares.

This Law establishes that public property can be movable and immovable objects, including plots of agricultural land and public forest. It establishes the terms and conditions for privatization of public property. Privatization of public property shall be performed in accordance with purchase and sale contracts. The following objects of public property shall not be subject to privatization: (a) subsoil; (b) water resources; (c) territorial water; (d) continental shelf; (e) state forest fund; (f) protected areas; (g) national parks; and (h) objects of cultural heritage.

This Act is composed of 20 chapters and it is divided into 148 articles.

The scope of this Law shall be acknowledgement of the right of ownership to land plots pertaining to the ownership (tenancy) of natural and legal persons of private law. It shall be also applicable to unauthorized land seizure related to the plots of land pertaining to public land. This Law establishes plenary powers of state bodies representing the interests of the state in the process of acknowledgement of the right of ownership.

La presente Ley establece las reglas y principios que rigen el procedimiento especial para la regularización de predios rústicos ubicados en el Estado de Guanajuato. Se consideran predios rústicos aquellos que con tal carácter estén inscritos en el padrón catastral y estén destinados a la explotación de carácter agropecuario. Se establece un procedimiento especial para justificar la posesión como medio para acreditar el dominio de predios rústicos de propiedad particular.

This Law establishes legal grounds and the modalities of state registration of rights to immovable property and encumbrances, and also transactions related thereto with a view of recognition and protection by the state of registered rights, encumbrances and transactions. This Act amends the Absentee Landowners Levy Act 1976 in Paragraph (1)(a) of section 3. That provision defines, for the purposes of the princiapal Act, an absentee, in relation to a year of levy: (a) a person, not being a company, who: (i) has been absent from Norfolk Island for more than one-half of the year of levy; and defines businesses.
