“Director” now means the Director of the department responsible for land" (sect. 1). Section 3, here repealed, concerned the appointment of the Director of Land Records. Consequentially, a reference in any other Act or instrument to the Director of Lands Records shall be to be a reference to the Director of the department responsible for land. The new section 32B empowers the Minister to extend the term of a lease of public land that is less than 75 years to 75 years, subject to fulfilment of certain conditions.

This Regional Law establishes the value of public or municipal land destined for sale to the owners of edifices and construction located thereon. The price of public or municipal land shall be equal to two and a half percent of cadastre value in case of sale to commercial organizations, individual entrepreneurs, citizens and non-commercial organizations that are owners of the aforesaid constructions and edifices.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria considera la reforma agraria como un proceso integral y un instrumento de transformación de la estructura agraria del país, destinado a sustituir los regímenes de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra, que contribuya al desarrollo social y económico de la Nación.

La presente Resolución por la cual se establece los requisitos y procedimientos para la elaboración y tramitación de los esquemas y planes de ordenamiento territorial (POT) para el desarrollo urbano y rural, a nivel local y parcial, adicionando criterios para la gestión integral de riesgos de desastres y adaptación al cambio climático, que permitan un desarrollo sostenible.

La presente Ley de Reforma Agraria tiene como finalidad la transformación de la estructura agraria del país y la facilitación de su desarrollo económico y social, mediante la sustitución del régimen de latifundio y minifundio por un sistema justo de propiedad, tenencia y explotación de la tierra.

This Circular amends Circular No. 117/2004/TT-BTC guiding the implementation of the Government’s Decree on the collection of land use levies. A new point shall be added to section IV, Part A determining the calculation of payable land use levies. Point 3, section III of Part B, which provides for the case where land is leased by the State, is amended. A new point 3 shall be added to section I, Part D dealing with the determination of land use levies. Amendments have been made to point 2 and 3 of section III, Part D dealing with problems in land use levy payments.

The present Regulations are made under the Lands Act. In particular, the Regulations provide for the control of development activities in the St. John’s Urban Region. Section 4 lays down provisions relating to the control of development and establishes that a development shall not be carried out within the development area described in the Schedule except in accordance with the present Regulations. This Act provides with respect to the administration, structure, operations, powers, responsibilities and (additional) functions of the National Land Commission established by Article 67 of the Constitution and for certain aspects of management and administration of land in accordance with the principles of land policy set out in Article 60 of the Constitution and the national land policy.

Article 4 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Regional Legislative Assembly shall be competent public authority in the sphere of establishment of maximum and minimum land area pertaining to public or municipal ownership that is subject to transfer for farming”.
