Ministerial Decree No. 457 validating the Regulation on Federal Service of State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that Federal Service of State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography shall be the authorized federal executive body carrying out functions of state registration of rights to immovable property and transactions therewith, land valuation, land survey, land monitoring and geodesy and cartography.

The present Regulation enforces the Surveys Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. S.30). In particular, the Regulation repeals the Ontario Co-ordinate System Regulation (R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 1028) dealing with a survey made for the purpose of establishing the location of points on the surface of the earth by geographic or grid co-ordinates. The text consists of 2 sections.

Ministerial Decree No. 1067 validating the Regulation on state supervision over geodetic and cartographic activities.

This Ministerial Decree defines the role of state supervision over geodetic and cartographic activities as: (a) monitoring compliance with normative and technical requirements; (b) ensuring the correct mapping of state boundaries; (c) registering such activities; and (d) managing the transfer and storage of, and access to, geodetic and cartographic information. The Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy and Cartography shall be the state institution responsible for supervising geodetic and cartographic activities.

This Decree sets out the duties and competencies of administrative institutions responsible for land surveying and cartography, as well as their supervision. It provides professional criteria for the establishment and maintenance of observation points at a density suitable for cartographic purposes as well as criteria for the preparation of maps, quality requirements for public data, and, lastly, general rules on land surveys and cartographic activities for special purposes.

The scope of this Regional Law shall be performance of plenary powers of regional state bodies in the sphere of regulation of land relations. Regional Legislative Assembly shall be responsible for: (a) law-making in the sphere of land relations; (b) governance of public land; (c) establishment of case of allotment of public and municipal land free of charge to some categories of citizens; and (d) establishment of the modalities of land valuation.

The purpose of this Regulation is to improve land management and to guarantee the sustainable development of land.Land survey shall be aimed at ascertaining the land resources and utilization conditions, obtaining authentic and accurate basic land data, providing the basis for scientific planning, reasonable utilization and effective protection of land resources, etc.According to the Regulation, a nationwide land survey will be launched every 10 years and a land change survey will be conducted annually.

Decree No. 14/2010 regulating standards for the National Cartography Plan.

Decree No.4810 of 1966 - Regulation of Maritime public domain.

This Decree consisting of 2 articles applies to all private property areas adjacent to the sea. It allows for the exploitation of the maritime public domain on condition that the government approves the nature of the proposed project and area sought for exploitation. Additionally, the Decree allows any resort owner to use three times the surface area of the resort plot to construct a marina, provided that requires that the marina builder owns all the plots of land the marina would be connected to. By principle, the maritime public domain remains for the use of everybody.

This Decree concerns the Swedish Geological Survey Institute, which shall be the administrative authority for matters regarding geological formation of Sweden and the handling of minerals.The Institute shall collect and elaborate information regarding the geological condition of the subsoil and mineral resources present in Sweden. It shall also carry out survey and research on groundwater and well-drilling and collaborate with other authorities in the field of groundwater quality, nature conservation and environment protection.

Order No. 383 of the Ministry of Culture validating the Statute of the Federal Supervision Service on Cultural Heritage related to conservation and protection of cultural heritage.

This Order establishes that the Federal Supervision Service on Cultural Heritage shall be entitled with the task of conservation and protection of the objects of cultural heritage of federal significance. Federal Supervision Service on Cultural Heritage shall carry out the following functions: (a) inspection of the objects of cultural heritage; and (b) assessment of the function of the regional executive bodies in relation to conservation and protection of the objects of cultural heritage.
